Bingley continues to provide book reviews of famous Greeks and Romans. His latest, Aemilius Paullus, was consul, the highest normal office for Romans, and then went further to achieve the highest possible office, that of censor. Despite this illustrious political career, he was so poor he put his sons up for adoption.
