The Five Ages of Man - Greek Myth on the Creation of Man

We often hear people talking about a "Golden Age" in the past when everything was perfect and right. Indeed, most cultures seem to have a myth about a Golden Age that has been lost. The term "Golden Age" comes from the writings of Hesiod, a Greek farmer who described five successive "ages" or "races" of humanity.
