Students preserve chickens, history lessons

According to Odessa American online, fifth-graders prepared for Egypt Day at their Trinity School by making Ancient Egyptian projects using household objects and had a great time in the process. Here are some ideas.

From Odessa Online: "Model pyramids they made at home from everyday objects including tennis balls, sugarcubes and boxes of Milk Duds. They burned incense as the ancient Egyptians did to purify the air and listened to Egyptian music." The piece de resistance appears to have been a mummified Barbie doll. Either that or the two dead chickens whose corpses they salted, and whose innards they preserved with perfumed oils.
