Crucifixion

Read Benjamin Jowett's article on the cross (crux) that was used to punish criminals in various ancient cultures. There were three types, a t-shape, the traditional cross with four right angles, and an X-shaped cross, in addition to impalement, and two ways to attach the condemned.
