Aristotle and the Secrets of Life

AristotleTwo weeks ago Bingley reviewed the first in a series of historical mysteries by Margaret Doody, Aristotle Detective, which she wrote in 1978. Twenty-five years later she followed up Aristotle Detective with Aristotle and Poetic Justice, which Bingley has also reviewed. Now he has reviewed the third in the series, Aristotle and the Secrets of Life, which takes place in 330 B.C. Bingley says the following about the subplot:
This time we are well and truly exposed to the reality of what happens to ordinary innocent people caught up in wars and piracy.
