Forum Etymology Question

Friday October 6, 2006
A student wants the answer to the following question:
What word means "a word that has both Greek and Latin roots?" I have been searching for days, literally.... And cannot find an answer to my Logic professor's question. Hahahaha, anyone who can help me, it would be greatly appreciated!
If you have an answer, please post in the "What Word" forum thread.
