Vatican Opens Ancient Necropolis

On October 12, a section of an ancient Roman necropolis will be opened to visitors as part of the Vatican Museums. The site contains tombs from the 1st century B.C. to the time of Constantine. For more information, read Roman Necropolis found under Vatican garage.
