The Battle of Actium was fought between two Roman armies, one for Octavian (Augustus) led by his general Agrippa, and the other by Mark Antony whose forces were supplemented by those of the Egyptian queen Cleopatra. The Battle of Actium was fought on September 2, 31 B.C.
