Procopius describes the treaty made between the Roman emperor Honorius and the Vandals that eventually led to the sack of Rome. It wasn't just Honorius' fault, though. Valentinian III was, according to Procopius, a particularly ill-suited emperor responsible for the sacking of Algeria by the Vandals.
