This Perseus looks a little too wimpy to take on monsters and Gorgons and such, doesn’t he?
Definitely. He looked to me a bit like the 50s Superman (George Reeves).
The colors of your Wordless Wednesday entries impress me every week. This week is no different.
I’m speculating that things are looking up in life for you since you have moved from doom and gloom to a rescue theme
.I look forward to my weekly WW jaunt in to your ancient history site.
How does he expect to smite the monster with those teeny, tiny short arms? Sheesh.
I guess Ethiopia shouldn’t have been so upset when Eritrea broke away in 1993. The Ethiopians no longer have any coastline, so they don’t have to worry about sea monsters. Go ahead, insult the sea gods all you like, Ethiopia!
Ah, Andromeda, poor thing! Cursed with worthless parents, forced to be rescued by a tiny-armed hero.
It is such a silly picture with his red tights and all. Especially this section of it, but Hades’ helmet was supposed to confer invisibility and the shoes let him fly, so I suppose he could tease the monster to death.
