Wow, what a great image! I’ve seen so many Western paintings and frescoes of Moses’ story, but this is the first Middle Eastern one I’ve encountered. I’d love to know more about it.

I’m no art expert, but this is an incredible work in my opinion. The colors are striking, the story depiction is interesting, and it draws the attention of the audience.

Heston is the one with the solar disk and Dumbledore’s beard, I think. But that should be Aaron, shouldn’t it?

Sikhism goes back about 500 years. When we visited the museum in Lahore a few years ago the art style we saw is very similar to this.

As a kid I always thought the story of the staffs turning into serpents and swsllowing the other serpesnts was pretty cool. How do you suppose the sorcerers did that? Bet Stephen Spielburg could show us ;)
Happy WW

Vibrant and interesting painting. With regard to the 10 plagues, I imagine many people believe we’re reliving history.

I love Persian art (especially the miniatures). This is particularly interesting, not just for what it depicts, but for the wonderful colors.
