On this day in A.D. 9, the future Roman emperor Vespasian was born. Vespasian was officially Imperator Titus Flavius Vespasianus Caesar. He was born at Falacrinae, and died June 23, 79, of "diarrhea" at Aquae Cutiliae. He was the first of the Flavian Dynasty.
