The 17th century Praxis Grammatica tells you how to tell the underdogs they actually won:
[ 10 ] Vos estis victores, nos victi. [English Translation]
Praxis originally came from a Greek word prâxis 'deed, act, action'.
Praxis Grammatica gives great examples of Latin sentences in the guise of wondrously useful advice. My comments on the significance of the praxis sentences are just that, asides elicited by wondering. Please feel free to post your own interpretations and tell when you think this bit of Latin would most likely be used.
