Praxis Grammatica - Take the Bull

By , About.com GuideMarch 23, 2009

Follow me on:

This is a one-day break from Praxis Grammatica's sentences. Henry Bear's Latin for All Occasions contains English expressions translated into Latin. Most are silly or funny. Some are potentially useful. In the section on business expressions, Bear suggests the following:
Prehende taurum per cornua

Take the bull by the horns

Do you have a better way to say it? Please post in the comments.
