The 17th century Praxis Grammatica tells you that a human being is made of only two parts:
[ 411 ] Homo ex corpore constat et animo.
[Anglice (English Translation)]
Do you have a different interpretation? Please post in the comments about this bit of wisdom from Praxis Grammatica.

(1) Darcy DeMarco says:

I think that it is essentially correct. However, we do have a soul. The soul creates the body and the mind, and informs them. We cannot see the soul, so we tend to forget about it. But, we do come from somewhere! Where does our mind come from, etc. From the soul. We must remember that we are more than what is visible.

(2) Zorha Edwards says:

opinions on the soul are always in conjecture, but what we must realize is that a balance of the mind, body (soul) or spirit must be kept in a balance, and the other ideals are social ideals that change like the wind. what is right today, may be a crime tomorrow. The only Constance is that we can depend on is change. The difference is what do we understand about the basic human existence and how can we make it better for both the individual, and the masses alike. this is the age old problem. the Question of God lies in what we need for the time. so this Question of separation is Mute!
