Eyewitnesses in his own day and historians for centuries thereafter, have written about Alexander the Great. So the question of whether we need a new book on Alexander the Great would seem to require a negative answer, but that would be wrong. There is an awesome game that covers this same topic, called Successors. Unfortunately it is out of print, but a company called GMT Games is in the process of reprinting a new version;

If you like this period, this game recreates the chaos after Alexander’s death very well, in a fun multiplayer boardgame format.
Thanks for the information.
I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the recent Alexander novel, God of War by Christian Cameron.
