Myth Monday is returning. For about two years the work week started with an article on what I hoped was a lesser known aspect of mythology. Generally, the mythology was Greco-Roman. This wasn't always the case. There were also articles on Norse, Egyptian, and Hindu gods and goddesses. For the newer readers of this site, these articles will all be new. To those who were reading the blog in 2009, there will be re-runs, as well as new articles. Tomorrow's installment features my favorite Greek hero, Hercules.

NS,

I’m looking forward to it. I’m reading a great piece right now called “Water Imagery in Iliadic Battle Scenes” by Jonathan Fenno.
