There May Still Be Food on This Roman Shipwreck

Finding actual food inside the more than 200 intact amphorae is what excites me the most about this bit of news -- that a Spain-Italy trading ship buried in the mud since some time from the first century B.C. to the first century A.D. has been found in the waters off Liguria (northwest Italy). There may be trouble finding funding to raise the ship from its muddy home. For more information see these two short articles: If you have a better or more thorough source on this story, please post in the comments.
