Not terribly impressive looking, although anything associated with one of the greats has a certain aura and an appeal to history lovers.

When I see this or any other ruins, my mind sees them in all their glory. I think that’s what all of us professional and laypeople do as a result of our passion of ancient architecture. I see the dedication ceremonies, the processions, the sacrifices, the mummers, the Senators and priests, all gathered around these structures.
