AchillesIf you're reading the Iliad for the first time, it may seem a bit overwhelming, especially when you encounter long lists (or catalogues) or strange allusions to the gods. While the public domain translation is nowhere near as good for 21st century readers as, for instance, Robert Fagles', it is free.
