Definition: Chac is conceived of as divided into North, South, East, and West, and is associated with the wind god, Kukulcan. Chac is a benevolent Maya fertility, agriculture, thunder, and rain god.

Also Known As: Chac is Tlaloc of the Aztecs, the rain god Cocijo of the Zapotec, Ah Hoya (he who urinates), Ah Tzenul (he who gives food to others), and Hopop Caan (he who lights up the sky).
