POLYDORUS

Definition: There are 3 ancient men whose reputation has come down to us who are named Polydorus. One Polydorus was the son of Cadmus and Harmonia and grandfather of Oedipus. A second Polydorus was was the youngest son of Priam and Laothoe. This Polydorus was killed as a boy by Achilles. A third Polydorus was a sculptor of the Laocoon group.
