Paeonius

Definition: A Thracian, Paeonius was a Greek sculptor employed c. 436 B.C. in the decoration of the temple of Zeus in Olympia. He also made the bronze Nike statue that was dedicated by the Messenians at Olympia, according to Pausanias.
