Sulpicia

Definition: Sulpicia is famous as a Roman woman poet from the time of Augustus. Sulpicia was a ward of M. Valerius Messalla Corvinus and was part of the literary circle that included Tibullus. The poems Sulpicia wrote have been ascribed to the poet Tibullus.
