Dates of the Tragedies and Comedies by the Great Greek Dramatists

The following table shows the approximate production dates when known of Greek tragedy, by Aeschylus, Euripides, and Sophocles, and Greek comedy, by Aristophanes. The purpose of this table is to show how the lives and productions of the playwrights overlapped. It's worth noting the Athenians surrendered and the Peloponnesian War ended in 404.
