Marcus Livius Drusus was consul of Rome in 112 B.C. Drusus led the opposition to Gaius Gracchus and Flaccus in their cause of enfranchising the Italians. This made Drusus popular with the Roman senatorial class. Drusus reached the highest office -- censor -- in 109 B.C.
