Fenrir
In Norse mythology, Fenrir was a wolf that the Aesir gods could not restrain. The dwarves provided a solution to this problem, a special rope. While Fenrir was being tied up, he bit off the war god Tyr's hand. Then, at Ragnarok, Fenrir killed Odin. In turn, Fenrir was killed by Odin's son Vidar.
