Mayan God/Goddesses index Chac is a benevolent Mayan rain god. Conceived of as divided into North, South, East, and West and associated with the wind god, Kukulcan.
Chac
From Encyclopedia Mythica. Fertility, agriculture, thunder, and rain god. He is Tlaloc of the Aztecs and the rain god Cocijo of the Zapotec. He is also known as Ah Hoya (he who urinates), Ah Tzenul (he who gives food to others), and Hopop Caan (he who lights up the sky).
