Phoebus - Apollo - PHOEBUS APOLLO

Definition: Phoebus -- meaning bright -- is an epithet for the Greek and Roman god Apollo. Phoebus Apollo was synonymous with the sun in later classical writers, although for Homer Apollo was distinct from the sun god Helios. Apollo was the twin brother of Artemis and the son of Zeus and Leto.
