Stilpo or Stilpon (c. 380-330 B.C.)

Stilpo, born about 380 B.C. in Megara, was a moral philosopher. The Megarean school borrowed from Socrates and the Eleatic philosopher Parmenides to produce its own philosophy in which the highest good and the highest reality are one and the same.

Zeno of Citium, the founder of Stoicism, was Stilpo's pupil.
