You Are the Greek Hero Bellerophon

The Greek Heroes

All the Greek heroes worked hard and generally they played equally hard. They were beloved of the gods and sometimes equally hated. They didn't get a reputation as heroes because they rescued people from burning buildings, but because they showed divine assistance and incredible, seemingly superhuman abilities. On the whole, they were too big for their hometowns and so set off on what we now think of typically heroic quests. Just as the gods were popular ancestors for the ancient Greeks, so were the heroes. Likewise, the stories of neither gods nor heroes are entirely consistent and there is overlap.

About Bellerophon

The goddess Athena helped Bellerophon, but the mortal prince angered Zeus with his hubris. Bellerophon is a one-hit wonder among the heroes and even that feat is sometimes assumed by Perseus. It was Bellerophon who tamed the flying horse Pegasus and used it to kill the Chimera monster from a distance. He then settled down to married life as heir presumptive, but then, growing bored, set out to scale Olympus, only to wind up crippled and despised on Earth.

Since you are Bellerophon, you are likely to have wonderful opportunities presented to you. You can accomplish your goals if you take time for the preliminary steps. You have enough brains, but you may have trouble being content with your lot and may be burdened with an over-inflated ego. You should remember that even if it's on the other side of the hill it's likely not to be any greener.
