The Ancient Conquerors
Conquerors pursue their ends by military means, lives discarded ruthlessly. Only one of these conquerors seems to have felt remorse for this, but he wasn't the only conqueror who was reticent about war and its attendant rape, plunder, and pillage. Madness and megalomania weren't far off. These conquerors had to be themselves -- or have on staff -- competent tacticians. Their charisma or other means of persuasion made their soldiers loyal to them. Their men would lay down their lives, follow them to the ends of the earth or even fall off the edges, if so ordered. The conquerors are all colorful, complex characters, even the ones we know too little about. Some didn't consolidate the lands they ravaged, but those who succeeded in empire-building permanently changed world politics.
About Attila the Hun
Attila led his horseback Huns to become the terror of the age or, in more picturesque terms, the Scourge of God. The moment was over in a flash, as was Attila's life, lost to debated forces on the night of his marriage. Like Alexander, Attila drank far more than was conducive to healthy living. In later years, Genghis Khan appeared on the scene, recreating Attilan havoc.
Since you are Attila the Hun, you are probably an excellent host who puts on a good spread. No one will drink you under the table. There will never be a power vacuum when you're around, nor will anyone doubt that you are the authority. You desire lots of human companionship, partly to help inflate your ego, rather than to discuss ideas with, and partly because you really do like to see your chosen friends enjoying themselves. You are an individualist, an eccentric, and, of course, a dare-devil. You may feel a certain not necessarily justified sense of entitlement.
