According to < Source: URL = http://www.christianitytoday.com/history/features/twich/33.html > This Week in Christian History, "Some said that the event occurred on the same day of the year as the earlier destruction of Solomon's temple by Babylonians." 10th of August, in A.D. 70 = the 9th of Av, which is the Jewish date for the destruction, according to Templemount.org's The Destruction of the Second Temple.
