Daedalus
Daedalus fled to Crete and King Minos.There he built a mechanical contraption for Minos' queen Pasiphae so she could be mounted by Minos' prize bull. Later, Daedalus created the labyrinth to house Minos' stepson, the part-bull, part-human Minotaur.
The Cretan Bull
Hercules had to capture the Cretan Bull for King Eurystheus. While we don't know for sure which bull it was, it might have been the father of the Minotaur.
Icarus
Icarus was the son of the inventive Daedalus. Daedalus was in Crete where he was imprisoned with his son.
Theseus in the Maze
Theseus, with the help of Ariadne, killed the Minotaur in the labyrinth.
Ariadne Myth
Ariadne helped Theseus find his way in the Labyrinth where the hero killed her half-brother. She then fled with Theseus, but he dumped her en route. She got the best of the deal.
