To the north of Mysia were the Propontis and Hellespont. Bithynia and Phrygia were to the east. Mt. Ida or Idaeus is the main mountain in Mysia. This is where Paris judged the goddesses in the beauty contest. The River Xanthus (Scamander) is located there. Campanian Cumae is in Mysia. This is where Hesiod is from. Parchment comes from Pergamum in Mysia.
