Temple of Antonius and Faustina in the Roman Forum
The Temple of Antoninus and Faustina was built by Emperor Antoninus Pius to honor his deified wife, the empress Faustina, who died in 141 A.D. The temple was built in the Roman forum on the north side of the Sacra via to the east of the basilica Aemilia. It was originally "templum Faustinae" but was re-dedicated to the emperor and his wife after Antoninus Pius' deification.
