Clytemnestra (Clytaemnestra)
Encyclopedia Mythica article on Clytemnestra, by Mia Gibson. Clytemnestra was the daughter of Leda (mother of Helen of Troy) and Tyndareus. Article points out that Homer's version of Clytemnestra's story has her lover, Aegisthus, murdering her husband Agamemnon. In this version, Orestes does not murder his mother.
