Aristophanes - Comic Playwright

Aristophanes is the only representative of Old Comedy whose work we have in complete form. He pokes fun of Socrates in The Clouds, by portraying him as a sophist. He wrote plays with social commentary, like the anti-war comedy Lysistrata.
