Horace - Latin Poet

Horace (December 8, 65 - November 27, 8 B.C.), another Latin satirist, provides autiobiographical information in his poetry, from which we learn that he was the son of a freedman coactor argentarius 'auction broker and publicanus 'tax collector'. Another source for his life is Suetonius.
