Egeria - Pilgrim
Possibly a member of a religious order, Egeria made a leisurely pilgrimage to the Holy Land and wrote down her observations in a book called Itinerarium Egeriae, Peregrinatio Aetheriae, or the Travels, somewhere between the fourth and seventh centuries.
