Definition: When archaeologist Howard Carter first started to work in Egypt he was 17. It was 1891. Howard Carter copied wall paintings. Howard Carter continued working in Egypt where he was employed by Lord Carnarvon. Thirty-one years after Howard Carter first started working in Egypt -- on November 4, 1922 -- he discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen.
