Truth Based on Fact - In Support of Historical Fiction
When reading historical fiction, we don't have to worry about different realities. The author has worked it out for us. It's better than that, though, since it provides a thorough overview of those aspects of Roman daily life that anyone would be interested in.

It includes chapters on the identity of the Roman woodworkers, his tools, wooden joints, foundations, framing and walls, flooring, roofing and ceilings, interior woodwork, wheels, furniture and veneers, classification of trees, Italian forests, a 67-page glossary, and an appendix on the tools.
