- abietarius - dealer in wood, specializing in fir
- arcularius - maker of chests or boxes
- ars fabrilis - carpentry, woodwork
- citrarius - dealer in citrus wood or artisan who works in citrus wood
- conductor, redemptor = contractor
- faber carpentarius - cart maker
- faber intestinarius - specialist in finish carpentry, interior woodwork
- faber lectarius - bed maker
- faber limarius - craftsman who specializes in making files
- faber naupegus = naupegus = faber navalis - shipwright
- faber pectinarius - comb maker, usually of boxwood, perhaps someone who makes wool-carding combs
- faber plaustrarius = faber plostrarius - wagon builder
- faber subaedanus - craftsman concerned with the interior of houses
- faber tignarius - carpenter who works with beams used in framing buildings
- lignator, -oris m. - firewood collector (vb lignari - collect firewood)
