Marcian became eastern Roman emperor by marrying Emperor Theodosius II's sister Pulcheria.

Roman Emperor Magnus Maximus

Magnus Maximus was an Orthodox Christian Roman emperor of Britain, Gaul, and Hispania. A usurper, Maximus was executed by Theodosius in 388.
