Kouros

A kouros is the name given a depiction of an idealized youthful male from the Archaic Age.

Kouroi (the plural of kouros) are sometimes thought to depict Apollo. A kouros is an Archaic Age nude statue of a handsome young man, at least as large as life. It appears to be walking forward.
