Definition: Astyanax was the son of the King Priam of Troy's oldest son, Hector, and Hector's wife Andromache. At the fall of Troy, Achilles' son Neoptolemus threw the young boy over the walls of Troy sending Astyanax to his death. Iliad VI, 403, 466 and Aeneid II, 457.
