Definition: Herakles is the Greek form for Hercules. Herakles, which is also spelled Heracles, means the glory of Hera. Herakles was a semi-divine Greek hero who was hounded all his life by Hera. Herakles attained immortality after death and married Hera's daughter Hebe.

Alternate Spellings: Heracles
