Definition: Alfheim is one of the nine worlds mentioned in Norse mythology. Alfheim (Alf = elf + heim = home) is the home of the light elves and their ruler, Frey.
The worlds of Asgard, Alfheim, and Vanaheim (as well as Valhalla) are located on the highest level of the universe.
