Definition: In Norse mythology, Odin was the head of the Aesir. Odin was the god of war, poetry, wisdom, and death. He gathered his portion of the slain warriors in Valhalla. He had a spear, Grungir, that never missed. Odin made sacrifices, including his eye, for the sake of knowledge.
