Pausanias

From

Definition: Pausanias, nephew of the Spartan leader of the Battle of Thermopylae, Leonidas, was a general in the Persian Wars. He was responsible for the Greek victory over Mardonius at the Battle of Plataea in 479 B.C.
Examples:
Pausanias was a Spartan general and was also the name of a 2nd century A.D. geographer.
